Today I'm going to show you how to make a custom bridal shower card. Learn how to make a custom bridal shower card using a rubber stamp art and mixed media, see how easy it is to make a custom bridal shower card at home.
The rubber stamp design will be the foundation part of the card, use whatever rubber stamps that you like. We're going to use stamps with images of various patterns, scrolls, and nature symbols in a very creative way.
Mixed media will make this card exceptionally unique, here are some fine ideas and standard suppliers that you'll need.

A variety of stamps and ink colors, images from magazines, clip art or from the Internet. Text can be a lot of fun, cut off small pieces of words that say bridal shower to you. You'll need a sheet of good quality paper.The wedding dress is beautiful and the quality and workmanship is amazing. We are using watercolor paper, a variety of felt and gel pens, and some fine gems stones.
Now we are going to cut our card to size, any size will do. This card is 41 half by 12, when fold the half, it will be finished by 41 half by 6 inches. Make a nice firm crease at the fold.
Next, come to the fun part, try a variety of patterns and colors, press the stamps firmly on the inpatterned card, and creative fine patterns on your card. Try a new pattern and a different color, layered on top of the first type of design, try going off the edge to creative a different look. A third single pattern can be added to make this card a little off-center and very unique.

Now, take an image and use glue stick on the back of it, and firmly place it on top of the rubber stamp design. Add some text clipped from magazines, use words that work with your theme, cut it in any shape that you like and place it creatively on the card.
We have not done yet, now take out some of your pens, let's detail some of the art work. Try  a shadow look by tracing images with the black charcoal pencil and lightly smearing it. A white gel pen  is great for making highlights around the centerpiece, the white pen works great on dark images. Felt pens work best for creating nice and fun thick borders. Don't be afraid to add a little more colors to the unique piece of art, and lastly, add some little sparkle with self-sticking gems. You are bride-to-be friend will love it.
